So sorry to hear this news. Myself and many of the members of the Allgroup hockey team at Canlan wanted to pass on how Charlie would make us laugh when we visited the penalty box at Canlan. He will be missed.
Heartfelt condolences,
Duncan Graham, on behalf of Richard Graham, Glenn Sheridan, Juan Seymour and Dave Varga

Sorry to hear this. I will miss his comment "Hey old man." He used to say that to me all the time when he time kept my games! Sure going to miss that. RIP Charlie!

I am so very sad and sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. I had the honour and pleasure to know him through his role at Canlan. One of many fond memories I have of Charlie is a conversation I had with Melissa one evening at the sign in table and he came out of the rink and asked if I wanted a hot chocolate. Melissa said he must really like me because he never asks anyone if they want anything. That is something I will cherish.
Rest in Peace dear Charlie, Heaven just got the best timekeeper in the business but when you use the walkie just remember to "press the button Charlie".
Much Love,
Karen Pugsley

Many good memories of reffing at Canlan and having Charlie as my timekeeper. He was always good to make you laugh, or taking many laughs by ribbing him about his age, as well as stealing all of "his" pucks.. One of the nicest people you could come across. RIP Old Man. Bob McAlister
