Irene Wray passed away August 30, 2020 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, ON.
Dear wife of Norman Rosenitsch (2003), mother to Jennifer (John Tobin) and Michelle (Ben Tobin), sister to Linda Wray and Raymond Wray (Gayle), grandmother to Ben, Isabella, Meg and Oliver, aunt and great-aunt to many of the Rosenitsch and Wray side. Irene will be missed by her dearest friends Sandy M., Billie, Don, Sue, and Sandy J.
Born in St. Boniface, MB, Irene spent her childhood in Winnipeg, MB, and most of her adult life in Scarborough, ON. She moved to Brooklin, ON, after her husband passed in 2003. Irene worked as a medical secretary at Centenary and North York General Hospital. She loved her many dogs, especially her most recent, Toby. Enjoyed painting, knitting, and pulling funny faces when photos were taken!

In memory of Irene, donations to the Cancer Society or Arthritis Society of Canada would be appreciated.
A Celebration of Life will be held when safe to do so.

Irene will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Irene, I have known you for many many years and listened to the tales my mom would tell me about her daily chats with her. Confidants to the end! We are going to miss you and your loving, giving nature. Such a preventable loss and taken too soon. I remember going to your home and staying with you....having my first communion at your church, sharing Weight Watcher stories and recipes and the wonderfully decorated Christmas cookies you included in my lunch. The first time meeting my baby son Trent with Norm. Our family will miss you dearly and hope we will see you again. Tammy and Trent.

My Dear sweet brave friend I and my family will miss you so much. I'm going to miss our phone and messenger chats and many happy get togethers. You were my hero and rock with all the pain you suffered but was always positive. I understood and could walk in your shoes with my issues. My heart is heavy and will miss you so very much. Big hugs and lots of love my friend in Heaven.💜💜💜

I’m really going to miss you Irene, you were one of the most beautiful souls I’ve ever met, You were so warm and loving. Logan loved you to bits and I really wish you could have met Parker you would have loved him. It makes me so sad your last months were so hard but you’re now free of pain but you’re now with Norm and little Toby.
I love and miss you. Xo
