Loved wife of the late Morley (2010)
Adoring mother of Robert Groves, Peter Groves and his wife Lisa and Barb and her husband Dave Staves. Predeceased by her infant son Michael.
Grandmother of Pam, Chris (Rachel) and Valerie and predeceased by her granddaughter Kimberly Ann.
Great-grandmother of Amanda Staves-Stocks and Great-Great Grandmother of Kimmie.
Dear sister of Jean Apps, Jerry Rimkay (Sharon), Robert Rimkay (Margaret), Pat Longfield (Colin), Sharon Gardy (Paul). Predeceased by her sister Sandra Fournier (surviving Paul)
Joan will be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews and their families.
Service will be held at Barnes Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Monday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.
Interment will follow at Groveside Cemetery, Brooklin.
In memory of Joan memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
