Passed away peacefully at the Village of Taunton Mills Retirement Home in Whitby on August 14, 2020 at the age of 97.
Phyllis is survived by her nieces Kathryn Galloway (late Cyril) of Oshawa, Susan Shane (Frank) of Orono and Stephanie Adams (Manuel Jimenez) of Bowmanville.
Special Great-Aunt of Tracey, Janice, David, Paula, Diana, Andrew, Laura, Chris and Leslie, Great-Great-Aunt of Amy, Nathaniel, Matthew, Emelia, Gibson, Katie, Mathias, Lily, Ilya, Jesse, William, Cameron, Micah, Ava, Finley, Bradley, Lauren, Olivia, Noah and Great-Great-Great-Aunt of Eva.
Remembered of her family is USA and Slovakia.
Resting at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Road N. Whitby from 3-4 p.m. on Monday August 17th, followed by the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 4 p.m.
Interment will be held on Tuesday August 18th at 10 a.m. at Thornton Cemetery, Oshawa.
