Obituary

Toner, Roger Christopher

Passed away at his home in Pickering with family by his side on Tuesday January 14th, 2020 at the age of 71. Much loved husband and best friend of Deb Toner of Pickering. Much loved Dad of Kathryn and her husband Miguel Sanchez of Ajax, Kristen and her husband Cohen Trolley of Bowmanville and Robyn Toner of Pickering. Cherished Papa of Rosalie, Angel, Wyatt and Autumn.

Loving brother of Heather Toner, Neil (Ruby), Donna (Tom), Joanne (Don), Michael (Jane) and brother-in-law of Karen, Maureen (Victor). Predeceased by Joyce, Glenda, Sylvia and Gloria.

Roger will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and their families.

Visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Sunday February 23rd from 1:00 p.m. until time of Celebration of Life Service in the Barnes Chapel Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m.

In memory of Roger memorial donations to the Odette Cancer Center at Sunnybrook.

Glenn and I will always cherish our fun get togethers. Roger always went out of his way to bring amazing food and we shared many laughs and good times. We will surely miss him. Glenn and Doris

Roger was a Dear friend of 44 years. My heart goes out to Debo, Katie, Krissie Robin , the grandkids his brothers and sisters and all who knew him and held him in their heart. I will miss so much about him. Our conversations, his knowledge on so many subjects, his cooking his smile. I will miss him. Till we meet again. RIP. Judi and Robert

Jim and I offer our sincere condolences to Roger's loving family and friends. He was a strong and lovely man who fought so hard to stay with his family for as long as possible. He was surrounded by love and meaningful friendships, which speaks volumes as to who he was. He will be very sadly missed by so many.
