Obituary

Fox, Lewis James

It is with great sadness that the family of Lewis James (Jim) Fox announce his passing on December 28, 2019. Jim was predeceased by his brother Tom Fox, his parents, Betty (Tinline) Sanford and Lewis Fox, and more recently by his beloved wife and best friend of over 31 years, Pina Fox. He will be missed by his niece, Deb (Nick) Roberts and nephew, Rob (Patti) Fox; his step-daughter, Mena Canonico, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jim loved watching baseball and basketball, reminiscing over old photos, and reading mystery novels. Jim also loved to travel and had a great appreciation of fine art.
Thank you to the wonderful staff at Amica Whitby for their care and compassion.

Please join us for a Celebration of Life on January 26th, 2020 at Willow Ridge Golf Course in Blenheim from 1:00-3:00. We look forward to sharing stories and memories of Jim.
In memory of Jim, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

I had the honor of renting from jim and pina while studying in Oshawa. They always seemed so happy and Jim always had many pictures and memories to share. I can honestly say I get my love of pictures from Jim. Even as a young girl he always had his big camera at family reunions. I have loved taking many pictures of family events and Jim started that for me. The best gift is the gift of memory and moments and Jim gave us all that throughout the years. His compassion will be missed. Sincerely, Cassandra lozon

Cassie - I'm Pina's daughter, Mena. Thank you so much for sharing. You reminded me of how he was always taking photos and video - and in recent years, he took the time to transfer VHS tapes onto DVD and share them so we could look back on and cherish the memories, as well as witness moments that I would have never known about (including watching my mom dancing to 'Hot, Hot Hot' on a boat/ship while on vacation - only after she passed away in September 2018). So grateful for the gift of those DVDs and the memories they hold...
